Schedules are always subject to change because of weather or other unforeseen factors.
Weekend Closures and Restrictions – May 3 – 6, 2024
1. Westbound I-10 will be narrowed to three lanes between Broadway Road and 48th Street from 7 p.m. Friday, May 3, to 4 a.m. Monday, May 6, for bridge work. At the same time, the westbound I-10 on-ramp at Broadway Road and the westbound US 60 HOV ramp to westbound I-10 will be closed. Use the westbound I-10 on-ramp at 40th Street and the westbound US 60 to westbound I-10 ramp instead.
2. Eastbound I-10 will be narrowed to three lanes between 48th Street and Broadway Road from 8 p.m. Friday, May 3, to 5 a.m. Monday, May 6, for bridge work.
3. Canceled – 32nd Street will be closed in both directions between I-10 and Elwood Street from 8 p.m. Friday, May 3, to 4 a.m. Monday, May 6, for ramp reconfiguration work. At the same time, the westbound I-10 off-ramp at 32nd Street will be closed. Use the westbound I-10 off-ramps at 24th or 40th streets instead. Drivers on northbound 32nd Street will be able to access the eastbound I-10 on-ramp at 32nd Street.
Southbound Detour: Use northbound 32nd Street to eastbound University Drive to southbound 40th Street to westbound Broadway Road to access 32nd Street south of the closure.
Northbound Detour: Use southbound 32nd Street to eastbound Broadway Road to northbound 40th Street to westbound University Drive to access 32nd Street north of the closure.
Reminder: The eastbound I-10 off-ramp at 32nd Street will be closed into June. Use the eastbound I-10 off-ramp at 40th Street instead.
4. Eastbound US 60 will be narrowed to two lanes at Priest Drive from 10 p.m. Friday, May 3, to 10 p.m. Saturday, May 4, for paving.
5. Westbound I-10 will be closed between Loop 202 (Santan/South Mountain Freeway) and US 60 from 10 p.m. Friday, May 3, to 4 a.m. Monday, May 6, for paving and bridge work. At the same time, the following ramps will be closed:
- The westbound I-10 on-ramps at Wild Horse Pass Boulevard/Sundust Road, Chandler Boulevard, and Ray, Warner and Elliot roads.
- The westbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) ramps to westbound I-10.
- The eastbound Loop 202 (South Mountain Freeway) ramp to westbound I-10.
Westbound I-10 Detour: Use eastbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) to northbound Loop 101 (Price Freeway) to westbound US 60 or westbound Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) to access westbound I-10 beyond the closure.
Drivers heading to the West Valley can bypass the closure by using the Loop 202 (South Mountain Freeway) west and north to connect with I-10 at 59th Avenue.
6. Canceled – Northbound SR 143 will be narrowed to two lanes between University Drive and the Salt River bridge from 5 p.m. Saturday, May 4, to 4 a.m. Monday, May 6, for paving. At the same time, the northbound SR 143 on-ramp at University Drive will be closed. Use northbound Priest Drive or 44th Street to Washington Street to access northbound SR 143.
7. The westbound I-10 ramp to eastbound US 60 will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, May 3, to 4 a.m. Monday, May 6, for paving. Use westbound I-10 to westbound Broadway Road to eastbound I-10 to access eastbound US 60.
Weeknight Closures and Restrictions – May 6-10, 2024
1. Eastbound I-10 will be narrowed to two lanes between 48th Street and Broadway Road nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday, May 6, through the morning of Friday, May 10, for bridge work.
2. Westbound I-10 will be narrowed to two lanes between Broadway Road and 48th Street nightly from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m. beginning Monday, May 6, through the morning of Friday, May 10, for bridge work. At the same time, the westbound I-10 on-ramp at Broadway Road and the westbound US 60 HOV ramp to westbound I-10 will be closed. Use the westbound I-10 on-ramp at 40th Street and the westbound US 60 to westbound I-10 ramp instead.
3. Southbound 32nd Street will be closed between Elwood and Wood streets nightly from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. beginning Monday, May 6, through the morning of Thursday, May 9, for paving. At the same time, the westbound I-10 off-ramp at 32nd Street will be closed. Use the westbound I-10 off-ramp at 24th Street instead.
Southbound Detour: Use northbound 32nd Street to eastbound University Drive to southbound 40th Street to westbound Broadway Road to access 32nd Street south of the closure.

Weekend Closures and Restrictions – May 10-13, 2024
1. Eastbound I-10 will be closed between US 60 and Loop 202 (Santan/South Mountain Freeway) from 10 p.m. Friday, May 10, to 4 a.m. Monday, May 13, for a traffic shift, and sign and barrier work. At the same time, the following ramps will be closed:
- The westbound US 60 ramp to eastbound I-10.
- The HOV ramps connecting I-10 and US 60.
- The eastbound I-10 on-ramps at Baseline, Elliot, Warner and Ray roads.
- The eastbound US 60 on- and off-ramps at Mill Avenue.
Eastbound I-10 Detour: Use eastbound Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) or eastbound US 60 to southbound Loop 101 (Price Freeway) to westbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) to access eastbound I-10 beyond the closure.
West Valley drivers can bypass the closure by using the Loop 202 (South Mountain Freeway). From I-10 and 59th Avenue, travel south and east to connect with I-10 south of Chandler Boulevard.
2. Broadway Road will be closed in both directions between Interstate 10 and 55th Street from 8 p.m. Friday, May 10, to 4 a.m. Monday, May 13, for a traffic shift. At the same time, 52nd Street will be closed at Broadway Road and the westbound I-10 off-ramp at Broadway Road will be closed. Use the westbound I-10 off-ramp at 40th Street instead.
Westbound Broadway Road detour: Use northbound Priest Drive to westbound University Drive to southbound 40th Street to access Broadway Road and I-10.
Eastbound Broadway Road detour: Use southbound 48th Street to eastbound Southern Avenue to northbound Priest Drive to access Broadway Road. Drivers on eastbound Broadway Road will have access to the eastbound I-10 on-ramp at Broadway Road.
Northbound 52nd Street detour: Use northbound Priest Drive to westbound 14th Street to access 52nd Street.
Southbound 52nd Street detour: Use eastbound 14th Street to southbound Priest Drive to access Broadway Road.
3. Southbound 48th Street will be closed between I-10 and Broadway Road from 10 p.m. Friday, May 10, to 4 a.m. Monday, May 13, for overhead sign work. Use 40th Street to access eastbound I-10 and Broadway Road instead. At the same time, the eastbound I-10 off-ramp at 48th Street will be closed. Use the eastbound I-10 off-ramp at 40th Street instead.
4. The eastbound I-10 off-ramp at Baseline Road will close at 10 p.m. on Friday, May 10, for ramp reconfiguration. This closure is expected to last into July. During the closure, continue on eastbound I-10, exit at Elliot Road, turn left onto eastbound Elliot Road to access westbound I-10 and exit at Baseline Road. Drivers on westbound US 60 can use the off-ramp at Priest Drive to access Baseline Road.

Eastbound Interstate 10 off-ramp at 32nd Street closed
The eastbound I-10 off-ramp at 32nd Street closed at 8 p.m. on Friday, March 29, for ramp reconfiguration. This closure is expected to last into June. Use the eastbound I-10 off-ramp at 40th Street instead.
Eastbound Interstate 10 connector ramp between 48th Street and Broadway Road closed
The eastbound I-10 connector ramp between 48th Street and Broadway Road closed permanently at 10 p.m. on Friday, March 22, so crews can build the new eastbound I-10 ramp to northbound State Route 143. Use southbound 48th Street to access Broadway Road instead.
